Natural beauty is more than the products we do or do not use; it is how we convey who we are. It takes less time to smile than to apply lipstick, and it’s flattering 100% of the time. A genuine smile conveys interest in others and confidence in yourself. What could be more natural or beautiful? If people are complimenting you on your smile, then you are smiling and that is the key. It’s not the shade of your lipstick you are wearing or your new tooth whitening toothpaste, it’s you! If you are yet to receive those compliments, just practice smiling until it comes naturally. You can begin by smiling... at the grocery checker (even if you’ve been waiting in line -- remember he or she is probably as tired as you are), each time you get the mail (even if it’s mainly bills), at the first person you see in the morning (a smile can distract from bedhead any day of the week), and most importantly, in the mirror (you may not know how great you look until you begin this as part of your beauty regime). Perhaps a little smile is one of those things that can make a big difference. Smiles are not only habit forming, they are also contagious. Sounds like a natural epidemic worth spreading, doesn’t it? |
